We are seeking a skilled Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team at SPS PoolCare. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' swimming pools.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside experienced technicians to learn and assist with general plumbing, electrical, and heating repairs to clients' swimming pools.
- Inspect equipment and systems to identify problems or issues, and consult manuals or other resources as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and heating systems continue operating properly, under the supervision of a senior technician.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and swimming pool repair.
- Ability to read repair manuals and use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Excellent time management skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a related field preferred, with a RAIL license or equivalent state license a plus.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking, with the ability to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
- Ability to carry 50 pounds at a time.
