Job Title: Senior Manager, Global Security Awareness and Reporting

Circle K is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Global Security Awareness and Reporting team. As a key member of our Global Cyber Security team, you will be responsible for leading and enhancing the security culture and performance of our organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead global security awareness and metrics programs to ensure alignment with our organization's values, vision, and strategy.
  • Manage a global team of cyber security professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback.
  • Participate in managing our organization's risk and demonstrating the value and impact of our security program by providing metrics and reporting to the board, senior management, and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze metrics trends and collaborate with our Global Cyber Security team and other areas in IT to improve our security posture, identify gaps, and implement solutions.
  • Participate in identifying strengths and weaknesses in our security program as they relate to privacy, security, business resiliency, and compliance frameworks, and monitor developed action plans to ensure completion.
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit and Global Cyber Security to ensure all audit action items for Global Security are completed on time and with quality.
  • Manage the brand protection monitoring process, ensuring timely detection and response to potential threats and incidents.
  • Create and manage budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources.
  • Oversee the data retention program, which is currently in the implementation phase led by a Program Manager.
  • Engage in continuous learning in emerging security threats, industry trends, standards, and best practices, and share knowledge and best practices with the team and the organization.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, such as NIST CSF and ISO27001.
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of key concepts in risk management, cybersecurity, compliance, and/or audit.
  • Experience in creating and managing budgets.
  • Ability to collaborate with a variety of people in Global Security, IT, and other departments in the business, building trust and rapport.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to translate security and risk to all levels of the business, using clear and concise language.
  • Ability to communicate an effective security awareness message throughout the organization, using engaging and creative methods.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, and ability to motivate and inspire the team.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
