Como Farmacéutico, contribuirás a la calidad y al funcionamiento efectivo del departamento. Para ayudar a alcanzar nuestra misión, garantizarás terapias de medicamentos seguras, apropiadas y rentables para los pacientes, de acuerdo con las políticas, procedimientos y protocolos establecidos. Tu capacidad para supervisar todas las actividades del departamento relacionadas con la preparación y dispensación de preparaciones farmacéuticas, en conformidad con las leyes federales, estatales y locales, así como con los requisitos de la Junta de Farmacia de Virginia, es de vital importancia. Se requiere demostrar competencia en sistemas de información (por ejemplo, sistemas de información clínica, sistemas de dispensación automatizada y sistemas de gestión de bóvedas).

Este es un puesto a tiempo completo de lunes a viernes durante el día/noche con turnos rotativos.

Responsabilidades del Trabajo:
  • Completa y documenta inspecciones de todas las áreas de almacenamiento de medicamentos asignadas mensualmente.
  • Identifica y reemplaza medicamentos caducados/inutilizables según lo documentado en los formularios de inspección de unidades.
  • Supervisa y dirige al personal de apoyo de farmacia.
  • Verifica las actividades diarias de los Técnicos de Farmacia. Participa en la evaluación del desempeño del personal de apoyo de farmacia.
  • Organiza y prioriza las asignaciones de trabajo. Asegura que los servicios de farmacia se proporcionen de manera oportuna, como lo evidencia la falta de quejas.
Calificaciones:

Experiencia:
  • Un (1) año de trabajo en un hospital como Farmacéutico.
Educación:
  • Título de licenciatura en Farmacia.
  • Residencia en cardiología PGY1/PGY2 preferida.
Certificaciones:
  • Farmacéutico licenciado en el estado de VA.
