About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at SageLife. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely preparation of food for our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare all food items as directed in a safe, sanitary, and timely manner while following all HACCP procedures.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
  • Monitor delivery, storage, inventory, and security of all food and supplies during shift.
  • Maintain a clean workstation and overall cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen and kitchen equipment during shift.
  • Keep current with state and facility required annual training.
  • Work with a noticeable sense of urgency.
Requirements
  • High school or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year's experience as a cook.
  • Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
  • Understanding and knowledge of HACCP - safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment and work calmly and effectively under pressure.
