Haven Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Intake Specialist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to call inquiries for potential admissions and provide information to facilitate the admissions process.
  • Obtain required information to support admissions and make referrals for individuals who are not suitable for admission.
  • Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to build relationships with referral sources, monitor hospital census, and review clinical presentations with physicians.
  • Interface with insurance companies to secure authorization for treatment.

Requirements:

  • Masters' Degree in a Behavioral Health field or Registered Nurse.
  • CPI/CPR certification per policy, with current licensure or certification preferred by discipline.
  • Experience with crisis management or intake preferred.
