Job Overview

The Senior Finance Strategist is an integral part of the Mast-Jägermeister US Finance team. This role serves as a vital cross-functional partner for the Sales and Marketing departments, facilitating informed business decisions through comprehensive analysis. The individual will oversee the complete financial planning cycle for the US, aligning with both local and global objectives. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this position holds significant responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the annual budgeting process, including regular reforecasts and long-term strategic planning.
  • Deliver month-end profit and loss reports, conduct variance analysis, and identify emerging trends along with potential risks and opportunities.
  • Enhance performance and revenue growth by managing the overall pricing strategy of the organization.
  • Recognize critical business opportunities, risks, and initiatives, providing top-tier financial analysis and insights to aid in decision-making.
  • Supervise marketing expenditures, driving efficiency and transparency through regular assessments and collaboration with Marketing and Sales leadership.
  • Collaborate with the global finance team on the implementation of new planning and reporting tools (SAP Analytics Cloud).

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
  • Experience in the Spirits or Beverage industry is essential.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree is required.
  • Proven experience in managing and mentoring teams.
  • Familiarity with SAP is highly advantageous.
  • CPA certification is not mandatory but is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive, energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
