Job Title: Radiology Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team at HERO Health Staffing Corporation. As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for preparing exam rooms, organizing daily work schedules, and performing x-ray examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare exam rooms to meet the needs of requested examinations and specific physician requirements.
- Organize daily work schedules and perform related clerical duties.
- Integrate previous imaging studies, laboratory results, and patient history to optimize exams.
- Perform appropriate examinations based on patient information and consultation with interpreting physicians.
- Provide patient education and instruction prior to and after examinations.
- Adapt exams to address patient care problems and make decisions to resolve issues.
- Perform x-ray examinations with appropriate infection control and radiation safety measures.
- Evaluate patients for pregnancy prior to exams and apply ALARA principles for radiation safety.
- Perform surgical x-ray examinations and adhere to AORN standards.
- Perform other patient care activities and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology program.
- Demonstrated venipuncture competency.
- PACS/RIS knowledge is required.
- ImageCast/CareCast experience is preferred.
- ARRT (R) Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist is required.
- Certification/Registration/Licensure as required by the State.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
Compensation: $25-36/hour
