Role Overview

As a Veterinary Technician at Heart of Texas, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to pets in need. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and ensuring the well-being of our furry friends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate outpatient treatments and perform laboratory tests
  • Assist in surgery and support services, including admitting and discharging patients
  • Provide client care and communication, efficient patient assessments, and quick response to emergencies
  • Monitor patients, perform venipuncture, and place IV catheters
  • Assist in anesthetic monitoring, diagnostic imaging, and medical math

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of recent experience in veterinary practice
  • Ability to perform routine veterinary medical procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Veterinary Technician license is preferred
