Multimodality Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimodality Imaging Specialist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare. As a Multimodality Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures across multiple modalities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Imaging Procedures: Perform multimodality imaging procedures (e.g., CT, X-ray) according to protocol, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Patient Communication: Use AIDET communication techniques to engage with patients, explaining procedures and putting them at ease.
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures, ensuring proper positioning and equipment settings.
- Safety and Quality: Follow safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and maintain sterile techniques when performing procedures.
- Documentation: Ensure that all documentation, such as requisitions, patient history, consent forms, and shielding precautions, is accurate and complete.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain imaging equipment, work areas, and ensure cleanliness and operational readiness. Report any equipment issues to management.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory and ensure availability of necessary supplies.
- Training and Development: Act as a preceptor by providing quality training to new team members and assisting in implementing new services.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies and administer first aid if needed.
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Program
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience
- Certifications:
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer
- MRT License: Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensed by the State of Texas
- Imaging Modalities: Certification in two imaging modalities (e.g., ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, ARRT-MR, ARRT-N, ARRT-S, or ARRT-VI)
