Job Details

LCB Senior Living, LLC is seeking a skilled Memory Care Engagement Assistant to join our team at The Residence at Westport. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and engaging environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning, developing, and implementing activities that promote socialization, recreation, and wellness among residents.
  • Develop and implement creative ideas to enhance the activities program and encourage resident participation.
  • Maintain a professional and caring relationship with residents, families, and staff.
  • Arrange transportation and escorts for residents to and from outside activities and events.
  • Assist with volunteer programs, resident store operations, and supply management.
  • Provide support with monthly newsletters and weekly calendars.
  • Attend required training sessions and orientation.
  • Drive residents in a van as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in recreational therapy or a related field is preferred.
  • Gerontology experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
