Resident Services Coordinator

At EAH Housing, we are committed to providing exceptional service to our residents and communities. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Resident Services Coordinator to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Resident Services Coordinator will be responsible for connecting residents with existing social services provided by public agencies or private practitioners within the community. This role will also involve examining the needs for on-site services and exploring ways to bring programs and services to the property.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of services and program activities to residents both on and off-site.
- Provide information, assistance, and resident services referrals and engage in follow-up.
- Perform needs assessments to determine what types of programs and services would benefit the residents.
- Develop supportive relationships with residents and conduct regular outreach to encourage participation in resident programs.
- Connect residents to food resources in their community and increase resident access to food by facilitating distributions as needed.
- Establish connections with service providers and maintain a community resource directory in an online database.
- Accurately prepare and maintain monthly budgets, program files, and other documents in the online database and as required by regulatory requirements.
- Create monthly newsletters and calendars of events and activities.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with property managers and REM staff and participate in biweekly meetings with the site team.
- Actively participate in company-wide special initiatives, such as scholarships and digital learning, as applicable.
- Assist with recruiting and coordinating volunteers and vendors as needed.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and mutually respectful relationships.
- Attend all Resident Council meetings and work with the Council and residents to encourage higher levels of participation and access to program activities.
- Interface regularly with provider agencies, public agencies, and community volunteer groups to maximize effectiveness of program activities.
- Monitor participating agency involvement for quality and compliance with memorandums of understanding or other service agreements.
- Attend department and company meetings, trainings, and actively participate in EAH's Injury and Illness Prevention Plan.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BA Degree in Social Services, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 1-2 years of social service experience working with elderly, families.
