About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team at Jacobs, where you will play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of cutting-edge technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and Evaluation: Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to address compatibility concerns and ensure seamless integration.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter specialist, providing testing expertise for support of user requirements of complex to highly complex hardware applications.
  • Process Improvement: Develop, release, and maintain test procedures, and demonstrate creativity and foresight by identifying, preparing, and presenting detailed technical reports and briefings on new concepts and technical directions impacting programs/projects.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in testing software in a DoD or Intelligence Community environment
  • Certifications: DoD 8140 IAT baseline certification, Security+ CE certification, or equivalent Windows 10 certification - MCSA or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MDAA)
  • Skills: Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and processes, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and with a team, and adapt to changing technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: Possess or have ability to obtain Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) certification, and MS 98-365: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals certification
  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows 2019 Server, Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Exchange, SQL, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 2019, KMS, DNS, WSUS, group policies, PKI, SharePoint, MECM, and deploying workstation images, familiarity with VMware virtualization, Commvault data backups/restores, Trellix antivirus software, Kiwi Syslog Server, ACAS, Splunk, RHEL, Citrix, Dell Wyse Management Suite, and thin or zero clients.
Clearance Requirements

Must have active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or SCI eligibility.
