Overview
The Senior Product Manager will possess extensive knowledge and a profound understanding of Integrum's diverse product offerings, customer requirements, and stakeholder expectations. This role will involve collaboration across various departments and with external partners to achieve the company's sales and marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifies and articulates the needs of different target customers, including healthcare professionals and patients.
- Analyzes the Osseointegration market and develops comprehensive competitive assessments.
- Contributes to the creation and execution of sales and marketing initiatives, tools, and resources.
- Monitors the performance of the Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budget.
- Acts as a representative for Integrum's products with designated vendors, including advertising, public relations, and social media agencies.
- Keeps abreast of product offerings and surgical methodologies.
- Collaborates closely with sales and clinical education teams to provide product knowledge and support, as well as with global colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Assists in planning and represents Integrum at industry conferences and company-sponsored events as necessary.
- Serves as a marketing liaison with Integrum partners, such as surgical sales representatives.
- Monitors product performance metrics, including pricing and sales data.
- Prepares management reports and analyses as requested.
- Ensures compliance with FDA, HIPAA, and PHI regulations.
- In addition to the above responsibilities, the Product Manager will report to and collaborate with the US Director of Marketing. Given the small size of the organization, responsibilities and tasks may vary based on business needs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Position based in Boston, MA.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% throughout the year; travel requirements may vary based on industry events.
- 5-10 years of experience in Product Management or a related field, ideally within the Medical Device sector.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Background in Marketing, Engineering, or Business is essential.
- Experience in Orthopaedics or dental medical devices, particularly with osseointegrated or bone-anchored implants, is highly beneficial. Familiarity with medical device product development processes is desirable.
- Surgical or operating room experience is required.
- Proficient in Marketing Communications and social media; experience with Direct to Consumer (patients) marketing is preferred.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach and thrives in a dynamic, start-up environment, engaging in all facets of the business.
- Strong project and event coordination skills.
- Excellent communication abilities and a talent for building enduring relationships both internally and externally.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; a good understanding of Swedish is an advantage.
