Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create strategic action plans and cost estimates for project implementation.
  • Project Design and Development: Facilitate and contribute to the development of project plans and designs, ensuring compliance with codes, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Vendor Management: Assess the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors, and compare actual costs to estimates.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze equipment, systems, processes, and systems to identify modifications that improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies, and collaborate with safety, operations, and quality assurance departments to identify and troubleshoot problems.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of project engineering or project management experience
  • Industrial/system engineering background with a desire to move into project management
  • Background working in the food, grocery, retail, agriculture, or technological industry
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9000 design requirements
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
