The Senior Analyst for Cyber and Technology Risk will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and reporting on enterprise technology risks. This position is designed for those who are passionate about cybersecurity and technology risk management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Cyber and Technology Risk Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough analysis of technology risks and presenting findings to executive leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Performing both quantitative and qualitative assessments to prioritize risk mitigation efforts and track the effectiveness of technology risk reduction initiatives.
- Providing oversight and challenge to the First Line of Defense while acting as a member of the Second Line of Defense.
- Developing, collecting, and reporting on metrics and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) to facilitate proactive identification of technology risks.
- Managing the governance and oversight of risk metric and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in deliverables.
- Reviewing data sources for completeness and consistency to ensure reliable metrics and reporting.
- Creating presentations and communications on technology risk issues for various stakeholders.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 7 years in Cyber and Technology risk assessment and analysis.
- At least 4 years of experience with eGRC or similar risk management systems.
- Experience working within a banking or financial institution for a minimum of 4 years.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience in risk data analysis and metrics development.
- Familiarity with automation and presentation tools for IT, Cyber Security, or Risk Management data.
- Knowledge of automated analysis and reporting technologies such as Tableau or Alteryx.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Demonstrated organizational and facilitation skills, along with the ability to lead initiatives across diverse business functions.
COMPENSATION
The starting base salary for this position ranges from $101,231 to $172,355 annually, with variations based on skills, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
