Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant I to join our team at the State of Florida. As an Administrative Assistant I, you will provide exceptional support to our staff and clients, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your primary responsibilities will include providing general clerical duties, maintaining and updating records, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general clerical duties, including answering phones, directing clients, and maintaining records.
  • Maintain and update records, including client registration, appointments, and financial information.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including providing backup support to other clerical positions.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clerical or administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry.
