Job Title: Educational Development Administrator

Join the County of Los Angeles, CA team as an Educational Development Administrator and contribute to the development and implementation of educational and training programs for inmates. As a key member of the Sheriff Department, you will work closely with management and staff to design, evaluate, and implement programs that promote inmate well-being and self-awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee inmate training programs, including education, life skills, and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT)
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with community organizations, educational institutions, and departmental management to achieve program goals
  • Prepare and present program information to stakeholders, including internal and public presentations
  • Maintain accurate records and data related to programs
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Education, Criminal Justice, Public Health, Behavioral Science, Social Science, or a related field
  • One year of post-doctoral research experience or five years of relevant work experience in the field of study
  • Valid California Class C Driver License or ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation
