Position Overview:

Ochsner Health is actively seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Body Imaging Radiologist with specialized training in Oncology to enhance our expanding practice.

Radiology Group Structure:

The Ochsner North Shore Radiology group comprises 14 fellowship-trained radiologists specializing in Body Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging, MRI, Neuroradiology, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, and Breast Imaging. This group collaborates with a larger system-wide Radiology team of over 100 board-certified radiologists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with a diverse team of 14 North Shore Radiologists, with the flexibility to specialize further.
  • Fellowship training in Body Imaging is preferred, with additional experience or interest in advanced MRI techniques and PET imaging considered advantageous.
  • Primarily an on-site role with opportunities for remote work several times a month.
  • Practice at a state-of-the-art outpatient super clinic adjacent to a newly established cancer center.
  • Participate in after-hours coverage, supported by a combination of internal nighthawks and external services.
  • Manage reasonable call requirements with associated respite days.
  • Candidates must hold board certification or be board eligible in Radiology.
