Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society's Waconia Center. As a member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized nursing care to residents in a long-term and post-acute care setting.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide wound care as needed.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the charge nurse or physician.
  • Participate in resident and family education, as well as provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
