Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager:

  • Oversee daily operations of maintenance personnel and contractors as necessary.
  • Guide, mentor, and support staff to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance protocols.
  • Formulate and adjust short, medium, and long-term preventative maintenance strategies to ensure optimal facility and equipment performance.
  • Coordinate and implement necessary equipment upgrades.
  • Recruit, train, and assess maintenance personnel; conduct annual performance evaluations.

Qualifications for the Maintenance Manager:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred; significant relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of focus.
  • Experience with high power electrical systems, PLC training, and CMMS is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and achieve set objectives.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience is preferred.
