Controls Technician

Job Summary
As a Controls Technician at Schwan's Company, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining control networks, ladder logic programming, and plant software. You will also maintain calibration of measuring instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical equipment, and perform calibration and maintenance of electronic measuring, instrumentation recording, and indicating instruments electrical mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform design and maintenance of control networks, ladder logic programming, and plant software
• Maintain calibration of measuring instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical equipment
• Perform calibration and maintain electronic measuring, instrumentation recording, and indicating instruments electrical mechanical equipment
• Maintain detailed mapping of Ethernet networks including IP addresses, wiring switches, and cable patching
• Manage revision control PLC Logic including PLC5, SLC500, and Compact/Contrologix
Requirements
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience and 5-7 years of related experience
• Understanding of Ethernet networks, IP addressing, wiring, and cable patching
• Detailed understanding of PLC's is required: PLC5, SLC500, Compact/Contrologix
• Strong ability to utilize Factory TalkView Studio, RSLogix500, Studio 500 Professional, and Panel View 32
