About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Disability Solutions. As a key member of our data-driven team, you will be responsible for redefining raw data into meaningful business insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze large data sets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive key business decisions.
  • KPI Development & Monitoring: Work closely with business leaders to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business objectives and ensure the organization is meeting its goals.
  • Data Modeling & Transformation: Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to design and maintain robust data models, ensuring data is structured for optimal reporting and analysis.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Provide actionable recommendations based on data findings to improve business processes, increase efficiency, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with cross-functional teams such as finance, marketing, and operations to understand business requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions that address specific needs.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Respond to urgent business needs by conducting ad-hoc analyses and delivering insights in a timely manner to support critical decision-making.
  • BI Reporting Creation: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to provide real-time insights to business partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a BI or data analytics role.
  • BI Tools Expertise: Proficiency in BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or other data visualization tools.
  • SQL & Data Querying: Solid understanding of SQL for querying databases and performing data extractions to support BI initiatives.
  • Data Modeling: Experience with building and maintaining data models for BI reporting, including working with star and snowflake schemas.
  • Data Analysis Techniques: Proven understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive analytics methods to derive actionable insights.
  • Storytelling with Data: Ability to convey complex data insights through clear visualizations and narratives, ensuring partners can easily interpret and act on the information.
  • Data Governance: Familiarity with data governance standard methodologies, including data quality, integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations like CCPA.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with data pipelines and ETL processes is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
