Pacu Nurse Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Pacu Nurse to join our team at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Pacu environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Supervise and mentor LPNs and unlicensed personnel
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current state Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification and ACLS Certification preferred
  • One year of Critical Care RN experience preferred
