Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Speech Pathologist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will provide speech-language pathology services to pediatric patients, working under the supervision of our experienced team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide speech-language pathology services to pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
  • Conduct group and individual therapy sessions to promote effective communication and social skills.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current CCC-SLP certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and NY State license in Speech Pathology.
  • Three years of prior experience as a Speech Therapist, preferably in a pediatric setting.
  • BLS certification (Issued by the American Heart Association-AHA) OR Heartsaver CPR/AED certification (Issued by the American Heart Association-AHA) is required upon entry to the position.
