Job Overview

Are you a meticulous and experienced mortgage loan processor ready to assist clients through the complexities of the mortgage lending journey? We are in search of a proficient and productive mortgage processor to collaborate with our dedicated loan officers.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $22 - $30

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide borrowers in selecting the most suitable mortgage options based on their unique circumstances.
  • Document the entire loan process from initiation to approval using our internal systems.
  • Gather and secure necessary property and loan documentation to facilitate the processing of mortgage files, including appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records.
  • Act as a liaison among the mortgage underwriting department, loan originators, real estate professionals, and applicants to ensure smooth loan approval.
  • Compile and submit comprehensive loan packages to lender underwriters for their assessment.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan products and prior mortgage lending experience is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in loan processing is necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail, along with excellent analytical and time management abilities, is crucial.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.
