Exciting Opportunity for an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Physician
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Physician to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position within a supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess patients' medical histories
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures through the administration of oral sedation or anesthesia
- Conduct thorough examinations of teeth, gums, and oral structures, utilizing X-rays and diagnostic tests to identify dental issues
- Perform dental cleanings and plaque removal
- Diagnose tooth decay and provide restorative treatments, including fillings
- Design and fit dental appliances such as crowns, bridges, and dentures
- Administer teeth whitening procedures
- Execute tooth extractions and root canal treatments
- Carry out surgical interventions on affected tissues and bones
- Prescribe necessary medications
- Instruct patients on effective oral hygiene practices, including brushing and flossing techniques
- Encourage preventive dental care by scheduling routine check-ups
This position provides a competitive salary, along with retirement benefits, health insurance, continuing medical education (CME) opportunities, sign-on bonuses, and relocation assistance. Additionally, State and DEA reimbursement is available.
There is no on-call duty associated with this role.
