Phlebotomy Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy professional to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Relief Phlebotomy Specialist, you will perform a variety of clerical and laboratory phlebotomy procedures, including obtaining registration information, explaining health care policies, and distributing laboratory reports.

Key Responsibilities:
Obtain registration information from patients and patient signatures as outlined according to procedure.
Explain health care policies and procedures to patients.
Obtain and interpret physician orders and diagnoses, and perform clerical functions related to ordering of ancillary services.
Distribute laboratory reports and retrieve patient results.
Maintain logs and records, and maintain inventory and order supplies.
Reconcile billing on AS400 and error batch.

Requirements:
High school graduate required; Associates preferred.
Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectives.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Phlebotomy experience preferred.
