Position Overview:
NovaCare Rehabilitation is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team.

This is a full-time role with a structured schedule that includes Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 AM to 7 PM, along with Tuesday and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. No weekend shifts are required.

Our practice caters to a diverse patient demographic, from children to seniors, ensuring a varied and enriching work experience. We specialize in areas such as sports medicine, industrial rehabilitation, dry needling, and fall prevention, in addition to general orthopedic care. We pride ourselves on being a vital part of the community.

An ideal candidate will possess strong experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, particularly with a focus on sports medicine. We are also open to enthusiastic new graduates who are eager to work with high-functioning athletes and individuals of all abilities.

Work Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8 AM - 7 PM
Tuesday, Friday: 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Compensation begins at $25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:


As a PTA, you will be responsible for delivering patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, in accordance with state regulations.

You will possess the necessary training and education to assist the Physical Therapist in implementing prescribed treatment plans.


Your role will involve providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients, caregivers, and facilities, adhering to the principles of physical therapy and Select Medical's policies and procedures.

Maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients is essential, as is enhancing relationships with facility staff.

Qualifications:


Applicants must hold a valid state license, registration, or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant, having graduated from an accredited PTA program and passed the national examination certified by CAPTE.

Licensure must be valid in the state of practice.

CPR certification is also required.
