At NovaCare Rehabilitation, we are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is essential in delivering outstanding care to a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents to seniors.
Our esteemed clinical team is committed to providing therapeutic services that enhance functionality and achieve optimal recovery outcomes for our patients.
We pride ourselves on fostering an exceptional patient experience, assisting individuals in returning to their daily activities, sports, and overall quality of life.
Newly graduated physical therapist assistants are encouraged to apply. A valid state PTA license is required to commence employment. Comprehensive mentorship is available. Our practice serves a varied outpatient demographic, offering general orthopedic, sports, and industrial rehabilitation services. Clinicians typically manage an average of 12 patients daily.Schedule:
Per diem, PRN as needed for coverage and emergencies. No fixed schedule.
Hours of Operation:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 7A-8P. Wednesday 7A-4P and Friday 7A-330P.

Responsibilities:
Provide patient care under the guidance and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, adhering to state regulations.
Deliver high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and company policies.
Qualifications:
A valid state license (where applicable), registration, or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant upon graduation from an accredited program for Physical Therapist Assistants, and successful completion of a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
