Key Responsibilities:- Imaging and Diagnostic Procedures: Perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts studies, to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information to physicians.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in the operation of ultrasound equipment and maintain a high level of technical proficiency in performing complex procedures.
- Communication and Patient Care: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care and ensure a positive experience.
- Quality Assurance and Improvement: Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and maintain accreditation standards.
- Professional Development: Stay current with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Allied Health or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in ultrasound technology, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting.
- Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
- Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
