Type: Full-Time Contract Position

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 8hr Day Shift, variable start times in day/afternoon

Job Description:

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a travel assignment in Hazel Crest, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sonographer to join a dynamic team in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including vascular, breast, OB, GYN, abdominal, small parts, carotids, refluxes, venous/arterial dopplers, NSTs, and biopsies.
  • Handle both inpatient and outpatient cases, including emergency department patients.
  • Utilize GE and Siemens equipment to ensure high-quality imaging.
  • Chart using EPIC and GE PACS systems.
  • Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 7-bed ultrasound department.

Shift Information:

  • 8-hour day shift with variable start times in the day/afternoon.
  • On-call, call back, weekend, and holiday rotations are possible based on departmental needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience in vascular and breast imaging.
  • Active BLS and ARDMS certification (either OB or Abd) required at time of submission.
  • RVT certification highly preferred.
  • Strong experience with GE equipment and proficiency in OB and abdominal ultrasound.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with Joint Commission standards.
