Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled E-Learning Designer to join our Sales Training & Enablement team at Wellmark, Inc. As an E-Learning Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and administering comprehensive e-learning solutions to support the ongoing development of our internal and external sales producers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop engaging and impactful learning experiences using advanced authoring tools.
  • Identify online and virtual e-learning training opportunities based on data and recommend solutions that will deliver business results.
  • Collaborate with peers, leaders, and stakeholders to deliver results and provide subject matter expertise on best practices related to leveraging online opportunities.
  • Analyze, monitor, and report on all virtual training offerings and produce regular reports on results tied to business outcomes.
  • Partner with colleagues to conduct initial training needs assessments with stakeholders to identify needs and performance gaps, and determine appropriate e-learning strategies.
  • Leverage multiple applications and research best-in-class strategies to deliver highly-effective e-learning and virtual training curriculum.
  • Maintain and update the training library to ensure content is current, relevant, and accessible to all learners.
  • Coach peers through complex solution design and development projects.
  • Maximize the functionality of our learning management system and promote online learning options available to the Division and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of curriculum or content development experience.
  • Proficient in design and development of interactive, engaging online training experiences, suited to the characteristics and needs of the stakeholders/audience.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with others to encourage and support communication and teamwork.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, think critically, and work independently.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement, including the application of strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and fact-based decision-making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Hands-on experience in developing online learning using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Captivate, Articulate, Storyline 360 and others.
  • Applied experience with Learning Management System.
  • Working knowledge of basic instructional design principles such as ADDIE, Bloom's taxonomy, Adult Learning Principles, etc.
