Job Summary:

The Technical Training Development Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the development and facilitation of technical systems training. This role will provide an opportunity to gain professional experience and work on a team to create and maintain technical training materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical training materials, including presentations, manuals, online courses, and other instructional content.
  • Develop rollout plans with IT and business users.
  • Support the facilitation of training sessions, including setting up equipment, managing online platforms, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Help manage the Learning Management System (LMS) by uploading course materials, tracking participation, and generating reports on training outcomes.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify training needs by analyzing data, gathering feedback, and consulting with subject matter experts.
  • Develop business cases for training assignments, clearly stating the business value, resources needed, and key milestones for the project.
  • Review and test training content for accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness, ensuring that all materials meet company standards.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of training-related projects, including scheduling, communication, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors and clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in technical training and e-learning, contributing ideas for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with e-learning tools, content authoring software, and LMS platforms is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and resourceful, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of technical training and development.
