We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science and Machine Learning Expert to join our initiatives and improve our product offerings from the perspective of risk modeling and business forecasting.

As a key member of our team, you will own the research charter for Data & Decision Science, enabling business stakeholders to be data-driven and deterministic. You will provide insights into decisions at-hand and roadmap planning, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to solve real-world data science problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy advanced statistical and econometric models to drive business insights and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to prioritize important questions and provide scalable and reproducible solutions based on data.
  • Partner with software and data engineers to employ machine learning techniques and statistical modeling.
  • Design and implement data visualization and analysis tools to uncover hidden patterns and trends.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide clear, actionable recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Masters or PhD in Statistics, Decision Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • 10+ years of overall professional experience with 6+ years in data science, including exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and building prescriptive and predictive models.
  • Strong background in advanced mathematics, particularly statistics and probability theory, data mining, and machine learning.
  • Expertise in feature engineering, experimentation with A/B testing, statistical modeling, causal inference, and visualization techniques.
  • Experience with building and deploying highly scalable, low-latency RESTful services to serve models for real-time predictions.
  • Proficiency in both Python and SQL.
  • Previous experience conducting research and creating on-demand reports.
  • Experience handling large datasets and using data visualization and analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fraud/Risk modeling experience.
  • Experience with econometrics.
  • Experience with production model development, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience with AWS cloud environment.

Salary Range for California Residents Only: $133,920 to $180,800.
