Marketing Manager Job Description

Concordia Publishing House is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement annual business plans to achieve sales, cost, and inventory goals.
  • Support the publishing plan by preparing financially viable product proposals for approval.
  • Research the competitive environment to position products in the marketplace and identify opportunities.
  • Engage in ongoing market research to stay up-to-date on market trends and buyer profiles.
  • Optimize content, covers, and titles to maximize product impact.
  • Oversee and assist with maintaining and updating product metadata.
  • Develop and implement promotional campaigns, including seasonal sales and targeted offers.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure the successful development and marketing of products.
Requirements:
  • Product Management, Brand Management, Budgeting, Strategic Planning, Microsoft Excel.
  • Business Writing, Adobe InDesign.
  • Ability to research and recognize opportunities.
  • Ability to provide leadership and work with team members.
  • Knowledge of publishing, printing, graphic design, or design layout is helpful.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Five years of related marketing/business experience, including product management, brand management, data analysis, and budgeting.
