Job Description

Job Summary:

Develop and execute marketing strategies to generate brand loyalty and product awareness. This role is responsible for setting and implementing marketing communications plans, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to effectively manage targeted communications using various media.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing communications strategies and tactics consistent with brand positioning.
  • Manage all aspects of communication plan including overall strategy, monitoring expenditures, and evaluating effectiveness.
  • Direct internal and external creative groups and vendors in coordinating sales collateral, catalog, and price book, print and digital advertising, and in-person events.
  • Manage corporate website including maintenance of information and documentation through Product Information Management (PIM) platform, eCommerce, SEO initiatives, and overall user experience.
  • Manage trade show participation including vendor management, pre- and post-show communication, and lead tracking.
  • Oversee content development including coordinating written articles, case study development, blogs, email marketing, and general presentations.
  • Manage social media properties through daily monitoring, posting, and content development.
  • Oversee sample program, distribution of marketing materials for sales, and promotional products program.
  • Partner with Product Managers to develop and implement communication plans for new and existing products.
  • Coordinate with sales team to provide needed sales communications and sales training tools.
  • Report on key performance metrics of marketing communications programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration (or related field) or a combination of education, specialized training, and experience to meet requirements.
  • Four to five years of work experience in a similar position.
  • Experience with PC and MAC including word-processing and graphic design software MS-Word, Adobe Suite package (Illustrator, In-Design, and Photo Shop).

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, grammar, and proofreading abilities.
  • Teamwork orientation.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Functional knowledge of relational database and spreadsheet programs MS-Access and MS-Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, ASP, MS VB (for web administration).

Work Environment:

Normal office environment which requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and see. May involve the ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects of up to 15 to 20 pounds, infrequently.
