Job Title: Aeronautics Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Aeronautics Professor to join our team at Mt. San Antonio College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching college-level aeronautics courses, including Terminal Air Traffic Control and En Route Air Traffic Control.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach aeronautics courses to students with diverse backgrounds and learning styles
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of aeronautics programs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics or a related field
  • Two years of professional experience in aeronautics or a related field
  • FAA certification as a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Controller
  • No history of FAA certificate actions or FAA enforcement actions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Teaching experience in a college or university setting
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation
  • Knowledge of aeronautics industry trends and developments
