Job Title: Aeronautics Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Aeronautics Professor to join our team at Mt. San Antonio College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching college-level aeronautics courses, including Terminal Air Traffic Control and En Route Air Traffic Control.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach aeronautics courses to students with diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in aeronautics education
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and two years of professional experience in aeronautics or a related field
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • FAA certification as a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Controller
  • Experience teaching aeronautics courses at a college or university
  • Knowledge of industry developments and best practices in aeronautics education
