About the Role:

This position requires 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit, with a focus on rapid assessment and intervention to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and providing care to critically ill patients, managing life-support systems, and participating in emergency situations. Additionally, they will administer medications and other treatments, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and educate patients and their families about their care plan.

This is a full-time position with day, night, and mid-shift availability. We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $100,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401K, paid time off, and tuition assistance.

Responsibilities:
  • Rapidly assess patient conditions and intervene with appropriate care
  • Monitor and provide care to critically ill patients
  • Manage life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring
  • Participate in emergency situations
  • Administer medications and other treatments
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Educate patients and their families about their care plan
Requirements:
  • ADN or higher degree in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • 1+ years of experience in ICU
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Ability to function effectively under stress
  • Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
