The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement, with a minimum of four years of experience in the field. They will be responsible for supervising personnel assigned to the shift or unit, and will be expected to perform law enforcement, administrative, and communications activities in a professional and effective manner.
The successful candidate will be assigned to night shift patrol, and will be required to work closely with other members of the department to achieve the department's goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from high school or possession of a GED
- Georgia Basic Peace Officer Certification and twenty hours of POST training annually
- At least four years of experience in the field of law enforcement
Other Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must possess a valid Georgia Class C driver's license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- No felony convictions during your lifetime
- No discharge from any military organization less than an honorable discharge
- No termination for cause from a local, state or federal civil service or merit system job
- No current financial obligations/contract to any law enforcement agency or department
