We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative Services team at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients prior to surgery and establish a clear understanding of the procedure being performed.
- Apply aseptic technique to maintain a sterile field and assist in procedures or prepping patients for surgery.
- Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure a safe and effective surgical experience.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the surgical process.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- CNOR certification preferred.
