Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Part-time Health Care Ancillaries Instructor to join our team at San Diego City College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Health Care Ancillaries program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Health Care Ancillaries courses, including lecture and lab classes, as assigned by the department.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the program.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide quality instruction to students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of program goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the field of Health Care Ancillaries, or Associate degree and six years of experience, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of community college students and staff.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with students, staff, and faculty.
  • Commitment to student learning and success.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends, as assigned by the department.
