Part-Time LVN

At BrightSpring Health Services, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time LVN to join our team. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one care to clients, following their individualized plans of care and maintaining their dignity and independence.
- Monitor clients' vital statistics and report any abnormal findings to the case manager and physician.
- Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as needed, and document the results of these interventions.
- Complete routines established by other care professionals, such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
- Ensure infection control policies are maintained at all times and report any possible communicable diseases or infections.
- Accurately document nursing actions and communicate with family, case managers, and physicians, as well as document progress and outcomes for established goals.
- Order supplies, medications, and feedings as needed to ensure adequate amounts are on hand.
- Ensure all patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions.
- Monitor incidents involving individuals and ensure incident reports are completed timely and accurately.
- Proof of current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing from the state(s) of practice.
- Current Cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
- Ability to work in a home-like setting.
- Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, sit, and walk for periods of time.
- Able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of individual service plans, including understanding of client rights and health needs.
