Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and proactive Infrastructure Team Supervisor with a strong emphasis on cloud technologies to join our forward-thinking IT department. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of talented professionals in the design, implementation, and management of our on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, alongside a comprehensive understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps methodologies, and infrastructure automation. Your responsibilities will encompass advancing cloud adoption while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with our strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain the organization's server and networking infrastructure, incorporating both on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
  • Monitor and ensure optimal performance and availability across all systems.
  • Troubleshoot system and network issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Identify suitable cloud opportunities and formulate strategies for their integration into the existing environment.
  • Oversee the integration of cloud-based solutions with on-premises infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of systems, including data backup and recovery procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as required.
  • Collaborate with other IT personnel to develop and implement technology strategies aimed at modernizing the IT infrastructure.
  • Manage software and hardware updates, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and applications.
  • Maintain documentation of network topology and system configurations.
  • Engage with external vendors and service providers as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience at the Senior level in Enterprise Infrastructure is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience at the Senior level in Enterprise Infrastructure is required.
  • Experience with an automated service desk system and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators is required.
  • Strong knowledge of classic networking design, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Windows, Ubuntu, and Oracle Linux server operating systems.
  • Networking equipment from Cisco and Meraki.
  • Cisco-based VoIP, IP Telephony, and Call Center equipment.

Software Utilized:

  • Windows Server, Linux, and VMware.
  • Windows Desktop Operating Systems – Win10/11.
  • Desktop and Server Imaging and Management Solutions.
  • Service Desk Ticketing Systems.
  • All Microsoft Office products, including Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
