Job Overview

The Groundsperson with CDL is responsible for supporting our crew by performing various tasks from the ground, including clearing brush and trees as directed and ensuring clean-up on each job site. This role requires a Class A CDL license and previous experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clear brush and trees as directed
  • Ensure clean-up on each job site
  • Load and unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris
  • Operate the brush chipper
  • Clear undergrowth from right-of-way
  • Perform general clean-up of job sites

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries
  • Class A CDL license
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Salary:$52,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience
