Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team at GPAC. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment in our shop and service locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
  • Maintain the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
  • Deliver quality repairs in a timely fashion.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
  • Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience performing service repairs on ag diesel equipment.
  • Experience with tractors, combines, and other major ag equipment preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
  • Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Basic Service Technician certification preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; associate's degree preferred.

Compensation: $25-30 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
