We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Use hand tools, precision instruments, and diesel tools to diagnose and repair complex issues
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with service writers and other technicians to ensure efficient and effective repairs
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in diesel mechanics
  • Valid driver's license and DOT medical card required
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
