New Story Schools is seeking a qualified Special Education Paraprofessional, who will work collaboratively with Special Education instructors and Behavior Analysts to meet the individual curriculum and self-care needs of students. As an Academic Behavior Support Staff member, you will provide Autism support to students in grades K-2. This is a full-time role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the implementation of students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Support students within the classroom/program setting during participation in special subjects such as Physical Education, Vocational programs, and Field trips.
  • Apply appropriate behavior management strategies and techniques.
  • Observe and record data related to behavioral concerns to assess and monitor student progress.
