New Story Schools is seeking a qualified Special Education Paraprofessional, who will work in partnership with Special Education teachers and Behavior Analysts to address the individual curriculum and self-care needs of students. As an Academic Behavior Support Staff member, you will provide Autism support to students in grades K-2. This is a full-time position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the execution of the students' Individualized Education Plans (IEP)
  • Support students within the classroom/program setting during participation in special subjects such as Physical Education, Vocational programs, and Field trips.
  • Implement suitable behavior management strategies and techniques.
  • Observe and document data related to behavioral concerns to evaluate and monitor student progress.
