  • Evaluate and manage injuries, providing prompt and effective treatment to ensure optimal recovery and return to play.
  • Work closely with the head athletic trainer to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide exceptional care to all athletes, maintaining accurate medical records and notes.
  • Effectively communicate with students, colleagues, and families to ensure a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Maintain a detailed inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Compile team rosters and complete athletic eligibility checks for each season, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate physical exams and screenings, ensuring athletes meet necessary requirements.
  • Assist in hosting athletic events, providing support and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field.
  • Board and CPR certification.
  • South Carolina Athletic Training State Licensure.
  • At least 1+ years of athletic training experience in a school setting.
